Quinlyn was baptized 6 June 2009. She looked so beautiful and she was so ready even though she said she was nervous for a couple of days. She had already passed her interview with the Bishop with flying colors. Honestly, she knew answers that I probably never taught her--Thank You Primary teachers!
We had a lot of family there. On the Perkins side: Grandma and Grandpa Perkins; Aunt Delise and Uncle Burke, Wyatt, Bridger, Josie, and Lincoln; Uncle Doug, AEthan, and Ashton. On the Ontiveros side: Mary and Shane; Uncle Robert and Aunt Danette, Tyler, Darren, and J.T.; Uncle Dan and Aunt Linda, Mason, and Maya. We missed those who couldn't be there, but we understand and are so grateful for those who could be here with us on this special day.
Sister Wait, who is Quinlyn's current primary teacher, came and brought Q's whole primary class. Quinlyn is the first to be baptized in this group so I'm sure they all watched carefully. So nice and thoughtful of her to take time out of her Saturday to do that.
