Yes, that's right the first day of school has come and gone. So has the first day of kindergarten. All the kids did great and even Mommy managed to deal. Rowan announced on the morning of her first day, in her oh-so-Rowan way, that she had decided that "since I can talk to my friends, I decided that it would be ok to talk to my teachers." Great idea!
Quinny came home from her first day and said, "It was the best day of school ever!"
Connor didn't exactly have that same sentiment, but he is excited about his Biology class and thinks Seminary and Algebra II will be ok. So everything is going well.
Now, if we can just live through getting Brenny off to college. I am going to miss her so much. I so hope that she meets a whole bunch of really great kids who become her friends. Come on, BYU-I, don't let me down! Gage said the other day, "Brenny's gonna go to school and we're gonna cry." Very matter-of-factly. Wonder who he has overheard. :) He will miss her though and I fear for my little girls as much as for myself. It might be rocky. But the bright side is: she'll be home at Christmas and then get to stay until April. Yay.
So....keep the prayer lines open on Sept. 7th because that is move-in day!

She will LOVE it there. My years at BYU-I hold some of my greatest memories/friends. I would do it all over again if i could :)
