Guess What? A Great Day!

Had an appointment with my trainer at the gym this morning. I was looking forward to it last night but this morning woke up in the "viper pit" haha and on top of that I wasn't feeling very well. I was achey and had a nagging headache, BUT I got dressed and went anyway. I told Rayette I wasn't feeling very well and was worried it might be the flu. She said it was up to me whether we continued or not. I said I felt like I needed some Yoga or something where I could warmup and stretch and sweat without having to really push it. I tell you, I came home feeling almost 100 percent better than when I left. Yoga was the perfect solution! Thanks Rayette.

Then to top it off, this afternoon the fam and I went out on the river. It was great!! I personally had one of the best times I've had on the river in a while AND I'll tell you why :) At the risk of jinxing it---I had one of my best runs on the wakeboard EVER. Now, one must realize that I'm still very much the novice but I got up first try, rode quite a while, and did some moving back and forth. I finally felt that maybe I was a little bit in control of what was happening instead of just being dragged behind a boat and trying not to biff it. Success!!

We had more amazing things happen, well, actually, they were just joyous things to see and be a part of. Gage conquered a little more fear and went out on the tube again (first time he went he thought it was awesome, then thanks to a faulty tube he went in the water and that freaked him out a bit). It is a happy thing to watch Rowan in the tube; she LOVES it! Quinlyn got up again on the learner skis and was towed a long way up the river--super! Connor is getting to be an amazing wakeboarder! He crossed the wake MANY times and even caught some air. It was so fun! Brennan's challenge today was to be the driver of the BOAT! She did a wonderful and impressive job-even docking AND helping Dave to wakeboard. Yes, you read that right---he did it!!! I knew he would, I just didn't know how to pull him right, but Bren was awesome! It was so fun to see him up out of the water and riding the wake. I am so proud of my family. They are truly my greatest blessings!
